نتيجة الدرس



Step 1.
In this tutorial you are going to learn how to make a better looking orb.
So let's start by making a new document 300x300 and fill it any color. I used :

Step 2.
Grab the eliptical marquee tool and make a round circle by pressing Ctrl+alt to maintain the proportion.



Make a new layer and fill the selection with a blue color.
Press ctrl+x to deselect

Step 3.
With the circle layer selected add the folowing layer settings:
Inner glow:



Satin:



Stroke:



This is my result:



Step 4.
Go to Filter>Render>Lens flare and add a flare with the folowing settings:



This is what I got:




Step 5.
Make a selection of the orb and with the settings below make a smaller one over the seletion



Step 6.
Make a new layer and Fill the selection remaining with a gray color and set layer mode to color dodge with 42% opacity



Press ctrl+D to deselect

Step 7.
Make a new layer and with the eliptical tool make a selection and with the gradient tool from black to white go from top to bottom like in the image:



Now set blending to screen and this is the result:




Step 8.
Make a new layer and with the eliptical tool make a selection like below:



Then go to Edit>Stroke... and add the following settings:



Change blending to color dodge and you are done.
